WORLD -1
[...huh, didn’t you die? Well, maybe you didn’t. You might wake up feeling like you just woke up from a really vivid nightmare that you can still sort of feel the effects of or something… sure, you’re still in your old cabin, but maybe you can go out and see everyone?
...except when you go out, while it seems like the same old camp, things are a little… strange and pixelated. Also, the walls seem to have come down, but if you try to cross the barriers of where the walls were, you’ll find yourself right back at your cabin door.
Welcome to World -1, kids. You’re probably going to be here a while… and you may not actually be alone, either.]
[OOC: Welcome to the wonderful world of post-death sidequesting! "Sidequesting," you may ask? Well... you'll get an explanation soon enough.]

I don't need any, but I'd like some.
[Raising her arm toward him, with the picnic basket in hand.]
You can take the mat. I'll handle the plates and food.

[He gives her a small smile, before taking the mat from the basket and moving to find a good clearing near the pipes where they can sit. It only takes a few seconds before he puts the mat on the ground, waiting expectantly for Clair to put the rest down on it.]
I haven't been on a picnic in years, honestly.

Hopefully this one makes up for it. Is there anything special you'd like to eat? I...might have gone a little overboard, so it's probably in here.
no subject
Just anything, really. I'm not picky.
no subject
Come on, there must be something. I want...I want to know, alright?! So please tell me!

[She trails off, rummaging through the basket.]
I have some tuna sandwiches and clam cakes. Will that be alright?
no subject
[He's just going to lean over, curious - how much food does she even have in that basket, anyways?]
no subject
Though if Yomiel's hungry, at least he won't have to worry about her taking a long time. A few seconds have passed and already she's putting the sandwiches and clam cakes onto a plate.]
What would you like to drink?
no subject
[He nods, trying to figure out what to say. "You came prepared"? "Wow"? Gods, he's bad at this.]
Oh, water would be fine.
no subject
You can start eating, if you'd like. I'm not sure what I want just yet.
no subject
[He reaches over for his plate, picking up the tuna sandwich, but he doesn't take a bite, yet.]

Done. Now let's eat.

[Honestly, he's worried. He raises the sandwich to his mouth and takes a bite. He realizes, with a pang, that there's barely any taste to it, like it's been washed out. It's not as if there's nothing at all, but in a way, it's sadder that he can't have the full experience. Dead is dead.]
[He swallows, his heart sinking to his gut, but he does his best to keep up his smile. He even eats a few more bites just so that she won't worry about him.]
How's yours? Is it good?
