[...huh, didn’t you die? Well, maybe you didn’t. You might wake up feeling like you just woke up from a really vivid nightmare that you can still sort of feel the effects of or something… sure, you’re still in your old cabin, but maybe you can go out and see everyone?

...except when you go out, while it seems like the same old camp, things are a little… strange and pixelated. Also, the walls seem to have come down, but if you try to cross the barriers of where the walls were, you’ll find yourself right back at your cabin door.

[That's a clear answer, he doesn't. Mac is just going to go around the kitchen, still oblivious and going ahead with the usual routines]

[He takes a deep breath. He earned this with his actions, so no turning away]

[That was not what Mac expected to hear. For a moment he stopped, surprised]

You killed me?

[One, two, three, four, five seconds...]

Are you feelin' alright?

[...yeah, he hasn't really understood it yet. Do you dare to tell him the details, Pittoo?

Once he finally gets it, there'll be no turning point]

[He reaches up, touching the back of his own head- the same place Mac had been hurting]

[Well that's all Mac needed to know. That explained the pain, the blackout and waking up in the cabin.

Stunned, Mac involuntarily touched where he had been wounded in life and leaned against the counter]

I...I'm dead? And you did it. You killed me.

[He's way too shocked to be angry about that, just like anybody would be]

Why am I still here if I'm dead? Why are you here? You...did you kill yourself? Did somebody murder you or...?

[He's sliding to the floor]

...now what?

They figured it out, so I was... executed. I have no idea why we're here though.

...maybe this is purgatory. This doesn' resemble heaven in any way and hell would be...nastier than this. Chances are we must do somethin' special in here to get somewhere else.

I don' know, religion isn' a strong point of mine.

[Oh, you were executed. No bi deal, right?]

I can't believe what they did when they found out was...murderin' you! That is...how could they...

Don't blame the others. The bear forced them. If I didn't go he woulda killed everyone else instead.

...things are worse than I thought. First he locks us in a camp, then he gets important people for us under a space rock...

Did he really do it? Did he...get rid of that moon?

[He's expecting to hear the worst case scenario]

[He smiles slightly, though it's a tight, unhappy expression]

Good, my death wasn' a complete waste. And...

[Mac awkwardly passes his hand over where he now knows had been mortally wounded]

...I want to be angry I'm dead but I s'ppose there's no reason to dwell on that now. Mainly because even dead I'm in here. There's somethin' goin' on.

Have you seen anybody else? I met a little guy but I'm not sure what's up with him.

[Mac mimics how tall the Goomba he met was. That's pretty short, even for Mac]

I met a guy in sunglasses and a bowtie, yeah. Apparently the bear outsted him from the camp and took over.

[Mac doesn't even connect Pittoo's acquaintance with the Announcer. He's a bit dim when he's in a very unfamiliar situation such as...you know, being dead]

Ah. So the camp wasn't built by the bear to trap us. S'ppose that explains a few things.

The problem is how long ago that happened because it looks like our..."game" isn' the first one that happens here. The guy I mentioned said somethin' like he was part in one.

Who knows how many people Monokuma has killed. But we're still here, no matter how little it makes sense. So we can work to stop him.

...yeah. You're right. I don' know what but there may be somethin' we can do.

[His tone definitely shows he isn't convinced. A clear contrast from his determined attitude when he was alive. That doesn't mean he's going to sit around and do nothing, though]

There's no sense on discussin' it any longer. Let's be productive and head outside, see if there's anythin' to be done.
